St. Anthony's Home is a home for children with different traumatic experiences.Some are physically abused, sexually abused and emotionally abused. Others are abandoned and neglected.

St. Anthony’s Home is a non-Governmental Child and Youth Care Centre located near Newcastle, KwaZulu Natal which accommodates up to 100 children between the ages of 0-18 years.

We provide temporary residential care to children who are statutorily placed with us by the Department of Social Development. These children may have suffered from abuse, neglect, abandonment, or may have been orphaned – often through HIV/Aids.

 Our priority is to provide these children with a loving, welcoming environment and to care for them holistically; taking into account their Physical, Spiritual, Social, Emotional and Mental needs.
